No maintenance costs on BIG RIGS?
Well not quite, it just seems like it. Our customers spend very little time on maintenance and repair, and that is no accident, rather it
is by DESIGN.
We welcome the opportunity to improve our equipment. Making your work life easier is our path to success. Over the years we have seen many opportunities to do just that. Here are some examples of these opportunities and how we have addressed them.
- For some rigs an oil change is a major effort. We made our filters and drain plugs easy to get to so you don't have to dread the day your service is due.
- Clutch and transmission failures are
common. We have eliminated the need
for clutches and transmissions thereby
eliminating the need for you to service or repair them.
- Rigs that use pins in their pump drives often fail and send the broken parts through the pump and damage the stator tube. We eliminated the need for pins in our design resulting in less need for maintenance.
- Most other brands use a cheap, low
pressure material hose that is prone to
failure and bursting on job sites. We use only high pressure hose that can stand
the heavy, day in and day out use. This results in less down time for you and less
maintenance effort.
- In a wet environment metal and welds rust quickly so we powder coat paint our rigs at 300 degrees. You will not have to paint your rig for a long time.
- Wires break or work themselves loose causing down time and maintenance
problems. We use heat shrink connectors and heat shrink tubing that keeps wires secure and trouble free.
- Wheel bearings fail because they are too hard to service. We have bearing buddies on all trailers for easy service.
- Many mixing tank designs have bearings that are bolted directly to the tank side and if a seal fails the mud leaks into the bearing causing the bearing to freeze. We separate our bearings from the tank wall avoiding this problem.
- Stator tubes are hard to service and mud drops to the ground making a mess. We have a butterfly valve option to seal off tank from pump so you can easily service the pump anywhere.
